20th Annual Plenary Conference, 24-26 June 2022

The Annual Plenary Conference of the Society for Musicology in Ireland (SMI) in 2022 took place on 24-26 June, hosted by the Department of Music, University College Cork. Due to the ongoing uncertainty of international travel and the prevalence of COVID-19 cases in Ireland, the conference was held online. The keynote address was delivered by Shana L. Redmond, Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the Center for the Study of Ethnicity & Race, Columbia University. Her title was Dark Prelude: Listening to Minoritized Life.
