2nd SMI Postgraduate Students' Conference, 2009

The 2nd SMI Postgraduate Students' Conference was hosted by the Music Department, National University of Ireland Maynooth, on 24 January 2009.

The keynote speaker was the President of the Society for Musicology in Ireland, Professor Jan Smaczny (Queen's University Belfast), whose lecture was entitled ‘The Consolations of Musicology – Musings on the Unexpected’.
